Summary

The project aims to implement a national platform to collect data on maternal, newborn and child health and development, operated by specialists from the national Health and Education ministries and accessible to the families. The data collected along with a new low-cost neuroimaging device, will be used to identify valid and reliable behavioural predictors of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) to support case management and decision-making regarding follow-up strategies. New positive and direct health and development indicators of the target population will be constructed. Risk classification and prognosis of NDD will be supported by artificial intelligence algorithms. The platform will be made available, via health and education programs already in place, to a multidisciplinary network of specialists and researchers form research institutions, enterprises, scientific societies, government actors, schools and NGOs.
